Fight Club Heroes coming up!

Coming attraction!

Brother Tuck

Brother Tuck, the seventh of september.
We were supported by Titanic Toys, who had been drinking way too much ´n were thrown out before we entered the stage.
They sure missed something!
Thankfully, Morgan the Tambourine man, helped us out.
We got two beers each ´n a carpet for the drums.
Cheers!

The Bassplayer´s 30th Birthday Party

The 25th of August 2007 the bassplayer of the Sandwiches managed to do something that the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Keith Moon & Jim Morrisson failed to do.
He celebrated his 30th birthday!
Of course this meant that Flying Sandwich had to perform & we were backed up by The Nasser Book Club & Los Gallos de Attica.

Before the leadsinger decided to take a nap on the stage, we had the privilege of sharing the stage with the mythical poet, Sebie Jackson, performing his hit "You´ve got the money, but I´ve got the soul"

Nystua Summer Festival, EIDSVOLL, NORWAY 20-22 JULY 2007

WE DID TWO GIGS AT THE FESTIVAL. THE FIRST GIG WAS OUR BEST GIG EVER. THE SECOND GIG WAS´NT...
Starting the day with a heavy breakfast. The stage was set in a barn with some paintings and photographs hanging from the walls.

FRIDAY THE 20TH. THE FIRST GIG

The norwegian crowd were FANTASTIC!

It felt like the floor would break at any second

SATURDAY THE 21ST
Getting up...

Afternoon coffee at Nystua Café

We did´nt enter the stage until sometime after 2 a.m. By then we had been drinking for 14 hours straight.
But at least we got some proper stage clothes...
The gig ended a bit prematurely after 2 strings of the guitar snapped!

An elderly norwegian lady looked at Fred and cried out: "Har han ikke noen PICK?"

Roughly translated: "Has´nt he got a PENIS?"
After the gig we kept on drinking outside, watching the beautiful sunrise.

Flying Sandwich BBQ

Tomorrow, we´re gonna travel to Einsvold, Norway, to play at a festival!
So last saturday we went out to bbq at the mountains of Långholmen and do some planing

We met a nice young man called Julian, who´s an excellent percussionist and plays the "mun-giga".
And we also saw a bearded ghost-man on the bus home. See for yourself!

And Freddy got wine all over himself!

UNPLUGGED supporting LOS GALLOS DE ATTICA at Musslan

MUSSLAN

2days
before
midsummer
we
decided
to do a kind thing; to support
Los Gallos de Attica, a swedish ska- band.
Since we´ve already been banned for life at Musslan, we had to play unplugged and come up with an alias.
So we temporarily renamed the band to THE HENRIK OLSSON EXPERIENCE.
We will probably never do that again!

An ordinary day...

Watch the sheer happiness in Hank, the little drummer-boy´s eyes.
Yup, the blue papers in his hands are beer-tickets. Free booze is an important thing in the life of an international rockmonster! Relaxing in the VIP section with some of the greatest rock acts in Scandinavia...

...getting more than enough of alcohol ´n drugs...

...´n playing some tunes with the friends!

Live At Södertörn

May 25:th 2007

FLYING SANDWICH live at the largest festival in northern Huddinge; The Söderthörns Festivus.

It was a brilliant gig and a great opportunity for the band to meet a new ´n eager crowd; the middleclass students of the southern suburbs of Stockholm.

Studio Recording

Johan´s studio at Gullmarsplan

We have always produced our own songs, but this time we let Johan from Prune show his skills!
We recorded 4 brand new tracks: "No Answer", "Cowboy", "You Should Do What I Told You" & "Steve McQueen"! Whether or not all of the tracks will end up on our new album is still a question, since we have some pretty damn good live versions of all of the songs.

Fender Precision!
And we let El Marco from Los Gallos de Attica put some magical percussion on "Cowboy"!
